Kelly Jackman was a remarkable woman who led our mission for many years. After participating in the Mission of Love trips to Saltillo, Mexico, she discovered a vocation for missionary work. When no longer able to safely return to Saltillo, she found a calling to work with Mision Joven in the Dominican Republic. She organized and led 8 trips there to provide missionary experiences for dozens of people in the Diocese of Tyler and served thousands of our brothers and sisters in the DR. Kelly was always a joy to be around and wherever she went, the light of Christ was present. Though Kelly passed away in 2022, this mission lives on in remembrance that we may continue bringing others to Christ just as Kelly did with everyone she encountered.
